Out of the 4 lift, only 2 working. Take very long for the lift to come down to your level. Facilities are old. Variety of dishes for breakfast are the same daily. Only 1 meat. Not palatable:

Room was clean and comfortable however, The air-condition was not very good. It seems to be O.K. but then it stops and does not maintain the set temperature.

This hotel desperately needs an update. The toilet cleanliness is horrible. I have booked this hotel because I need a 3 bedroom suite to fit my family needs. This hotel use to be good and I have stayed there everytime time I am in batem .. but this time I am quite surprised that broken (I assumed) tampered glass was removed from the toilet but it was never replaced hence my whole toilet gets really wet after every shower. The tiles were never cleaned and you can see mould build up at the seams and between the tiles. Smoking room without any ashtray.. why ? Oh well the good thing is there are so many other brand new hotels with attached shopping malls which makes it even more convient for travellers. I would give this hotel a miss in the future. Never again BCC.

Location is wise and convenient walkable to BCS mall, Grand batam and A2 foodcourt. However 2 bedroom suite was very rundown and constantly appearing of cockroaches in the apartment, i have killed countless of it. Bedsheets and pillow cover have yellow stains as well. Sofa was old and sink. Suggest a real revamp.

Checking in was abit draggy as the front desk had to deal with many guests demanding for their rooms which weren't ready (due to housekeeping issues perhaps?). Likewise for our 3 out of 4 rooms. However, we were pretty chilled since it' was supposed to be a holiday and the front desk staff were under tremendous stress and were already doing their best. Then there were issues with the lifts and so it took forever to either go up or down to/from our rooms on the top floors.

The apartment is older than the hotel room. Will be good if can furnish. The towels and linen are yellow. The service and location are good.

Excellent Location but poor service & hard bed

Great Stuff about Hotel: Excellent location, within 3-5 minutes walk away from BCS Mall, Night Hawker (A2 Foodcourt) & Peniun Market (Pasar Peniun) where you can find great local foods for breakfast, fruits & veg markets, fish & meat markets, local dried foods & snacks shops (keropok, Chili sauce, etc) & even clothes stalls within the market area. Great Stuff about Room: Big size rooms, clean. Negative Stuff about Hotel: Apart from the excellent location, this hotel has a small lobby area, very slow elevators, very slow staff. Negative Stuff about Room: Bed is very hard, 2 pillows on each bed of which 1 is too soft & flat while the other is too hard, old & too high.

It is a spacious and near the amenities. Shower curtains too short in the bathroom. Overall, good!

Basic room

8 of us stayed in 2 units of 2 bed room apartment has the basic amenities - bottled water, towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrush. It was able to fit us comfortably. Note that there were no cooking allowed even though there was a cooker hood. Deposit of 100k Rupiah was needed per room. Unit was rather old looking with old stains around. So of them had towels and bed linens with old stains on them. Sofa was not in a very good condition, either too hard or it looked like it was going to collapse. Well for the price, you pay for what you get.

Please also allow customers to take the free shuttle to the malls even not booking directly from hotel. Ultimately we stay choose to stay at the hotel but from other agents. And more timings for the shuttle. Room not so clean and has smell. Stained bedsheets. 4pax in a room, 2 bathrooms but only 1 small bottle of shampoo and 1 small bottle body soap. We expected each bathroom will have so we didnt bring us. Which now we have to take turn showering in 1 bathroom only. Breakfast not good. Food not warm. No meat, must at least ham, hot dog, chicken patty, some fried finger food, Sandwiches.

Location is good, but the hotel need a make over, shower cuber door spoil also didn't repair, aircon unit very noise ( light sleep like me cant sleep at all), some towels is too old need to throw away

Super lousy service...The one and only hotel i stayed in that ended up me having to go nearby to buy towers and toiletries. went for a 2D1N trip, booked 3-bedroom unit for 6 pax. Upon arriving only 1 set of Toileties provided in common toilet. Nothing was given in the master room toilet. For 6 pax staying there, only 4 towels were provided. Requested immediately for additional two towels and another set of toiletries to be provided in master bedroom toilet at least twice. All in all we waited for 2hrs for them to delivered it but no one shows up. We gave up waiting and chasing them for it and ended up having to go to the nearby shop to buy the toiletries and 2 towels so that we all can shower 1st before meeting our tour guide for the pre-arranged shopping trip. When we got back to the hotel around 10:30pm, we realised that nothing was being done, no additional towels or toiletries provided despite repeated request. Am glad we purchased it in the afternoon when they did not show up, else at least two of us will not get to shower and rest for the night. What kind of hotel is this? not able to even provided sufficient basic amenities to paying customers. really disappointed and will not stay there again.

Terrible

The aircon was always at 26degree and cannot be colder , and toilet bath area not able to bath properly with faulty hose ....also keep having blackout with hotel not having its own back up generator

A2 Food court and BCS mall is a stone throw away from the hotel. The hotel has rooms or apartment options which makes it easy for people travelling in large groups.

lift is super slow. we waiting for 30mins for the lift to go down to had our b1st.

Suggest to Upgrade the room facility and property.

Bed sheets and blankets are dirty

They upgraded me to suite which is nice but the bath tub didn’t work and towels are dirty the lifts are extremely slow. Breakfast quality is bad food and coffee are cold although service staff is good

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. However, it looks like it needs to be revamped. It looks dull.

Just next door to BCS mall and Sushei Tei; good halal japanese food. Across the road is the new Top 100 mall. Staff were very attentive. Informed them of faulty aircon n it was serviced in no time. Need improvement: stain on bedsheet 😣 , couch in living room very worn out and there were little cockroaches running around (found and killed three). Overall we enjoyed the stay in the 2 bedroom apt. Family with 2 young adults.

The lift are very slow. Should cater 1 side for level 1 to 12, another side for 13 to 22 And don't allow grab pick up at lobby.

One star too many....

Really friendly staff Huge rooms although a bit dated. The elevators were slow and crowded. Bathroom pipes were clogged so shower would easily overflow. Breakfast buffet was crowded but in all. Was what I had expected for Batam.

Location was central. Aircon was good. Rooms were clean. Front desk service was good. Slow elevator service.

Improvement needed

Good: location, counter service, concierge service Thing to improvement: - bedlinen was dirty, had rashes after napping, staff quickly changed out. - toilet bowl refilling water is very slow that you probably need to go downstair to use. Cannot back to back - could have place extra supply of toilet rolls as the number of pieces of the roll is low in quantity - 7am and is overcrowded at the restaurant , cant find a seat. The sun is very strong shinning in, not enough blind - recommend to have vegan options. Lontong was not served hot. - check out time need to speed up, it took awhile just to get housekeeping to check the room.

Location. Very easy to get food because it is very near to 2 shopping malls, BCS mall and Grand Batam Mall.

Very convenient. There is a big food court just behind the hotel so you wont be hungry. Open till late night. I-seafood seeve the best black pepper crab ever . A big shopping mall at the side which serve all shopping needs. Front desk staff also very helpful. Private Transport is also easily available infront if the hotel which is a plus point.

Pretty good stay, loved the jacuzzi, but the water wasnt really hot enough and it was difficult to fill the tub, we boiled water in the flask and added on our own. But the bed was comfy and the rooms was big. Good stay!

There is slight smell coming out of the bath room drainage pipe.

When I visit Batam I will stay at this hotel. Nice room, good location ,near Market,shopping mall and have a lot delicious food nearby to eat .

The long bath was good and clean.

BCC is a 4 star hotel. I booked a 3 bedroom hotel and was very disappointed. The common toolet glass door is not there, the basin in the kitchen flood the floor, the towel is so yellow and dirty. My check out time is at 1pm but when we return to the room at 12.30pm my door was wide open with our belonging everywhere. What if our shopping is lost who want to take responsibility.

Never come back again

I would not recommend this hotel for its outdated in facilities, they are still using paper recording for check-out. The towels smell and and the rooms facilities are old. We booked a shuttle service from ferry terminal to hotel on day 1 which never arrived. Lastly email communications prior to stay were ignored. In this day and age, this hotel can hardly be considered 3 star

Late check-in even though I've reached there 3pm. Room not ready with the extra bed requested in the email. Air-con not cold, toilet no ventilation with smell in the rooms. Rooms and toilets looks a bit run-down.

Walking distance to shopping mall BCS, many massage shop around. Can easily find nice food at surrounding.

The location is right next to BCS mall which is great. The downside is the rooms are not so clean snd the lift to the rooms are slow

Pay so much for apartment room but what we have is all yellowish and dirty towel. Bedsheet not clean enough. Furniture too rusty.

Good Location

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 person. Spacious apartment with a kitchenette but there's only 4 coffee mugs, kettle and complimentary coffee and tea bags. No cutlery, plates or anything that you will expect and apartment to have. Floor of apartment feels like it needed some room service, lucky there were bedroom slippers. The bed was ok, but the bedsheets and pillow cases looks and smell no good. I couldn't sleep well as I ma very particular abour clean sheets. Wifi in apartment comes on and off.

Check room before you move in.

My recent stay my wife found one white t shirt at the top wardrobe. Because of that she suspected that i am having an affair. It was the previous occupant before me. Room 1820.

Good swimming pool, gym. However in the Premier Suite, I got difficulty starting the jacuzzi bathtub. Instructions aids or simple A4 laminated paper can be posted. The water is also cold, no indications on hot/cold water. The tap valve is also easily detached from the mains. Maintenance department needs to check.

Room spacious and hotel centrally located next to BCS Mall. Opposite few good massage outlet, local wet market. Only that lack of house keeping with towel not changed for 2 nites. Buffet breakfast not well spread. Food not warm

BCC Hotel & Apartments.

Although rather basic, the hotel was roomy & clean. The best part of the hotel is its location; within walking distance to a local wet market and hawker centre, massage & beauty parlours, the BSC Shopping Mall, and the vibrant A2 Foodcourt that comes alive at night, to provide a variety of eating options under the open skies.

Event

Location is good. The event on Saturday night (dinner), 70k rupiah not so fantastic. If you could add in like curry or rendang it could be more favourable.

Overall still a good Hotel. Just a minor issue- room take a long while to cool inspite air temp is down to 18 degress with fan full speed.

Good hotel n friendly staffs..

Book a 3 bedroom apartment...aircon in on of the room not cold enough(room 412). Called maintainence...issue still same..(got 1 toddler n 1 baby) very uncomfortable. Got small roaches..lucky my daughter standby small baygon. Ordered room service but very slow to arrive( i guess due to lift issue). We ordered Go Jek food delivery( they came earlier than room service) . Breakfast better spread this time thank you. Most staff at this hotel are friendly with a smile always...if not i guess they are tired.. Anyway love this hotel always due to easy access to nearby Mall( BCS) massage parlour...eateries...tranportation pick up/rent/hourly rate)provided at hotel but with charges.. abit pricey bt at least all under one roof where we can feedback if any...

The room condition is bad. Common toilet door cannot lock, a/c can't adjust and the room was humid. Requested for iron and it was faulty and asked for replacement. Lift service during breakfast hour was madness and we had to take stairs to go up back to the room. Nonetheless, the staff are friendly and that's the only positive point in addition to the location as well

Room was meant to be non smoking but the room and the hotel floor smelt of smoke. Location was good. But don’t try to book gojek and taxi was a rip off.

Fantastic location, fairly good value for money

The good Within 5 minutes walk from A2 food court which has a fantastic atmosphere and a huge range of food. Within 5 minutes walk from BCS mall and lots of shophouses. Pool and room were clean enough. Great view. Areas of improvement Given smoking room despite requesting for non-smoking room. Had to request again during check-in before being re-assigned a non-smoking room. No towels in room when we checked in. Did not program our room card properly, was not able to use the card to access the lift on 2 of our 5 days there.

Mixed feelings

Suite's adjointing door was not able to be secured. I had accidentally entered my neighbour's room. Restaurant food was great value. Otherwise, suite was spacious & a comfort to stay in.

Everything is amazing. Very clean and big rooms they have for a family.

Was giving a room which toilet is smelly and needs to close the door so that the smell will go into the room or we already got used to the smell. When we go out and come back, that smelly toilet smell is in our room again. When we request receiption for changing the room, hotel staff refused to change for us and just send a man to "so clean the toilet" spray refresher. But smell still come back when the effect of refresher is over. As i got another 2 nights separate booking, i requested for changing of room, i was told to wait at room to till 1400hrs as once room ready will call my room. And i can't go out. Anyway, will share this extremely bad experience on our face book.

Lower Your Expectations

I booked the 3 Bedroom Apartment. Pros: Living/Dining area was spacious. Good for group hangout. Cons: Bath Towels, Bedsheets and Pillow cases were not crispy white and smell stale. No power socket in the bedrooms to charge mobile phones. No tv in two of the rooms.

Friendly staff. Only a bit issue on the toilet bowl however the technician able to rectify it. Overall is good.

Room not sound proof. Toilet smell like an old hotel. Location is good. Nearby is a wet market, a2 food court and shopping mall.

Spacious room, polite, friendly staff. Thankful that our request for room at higher floor with very good views was adhered to. This meant a lot to us. Breakfast - with some variety - was good too!

I always enjoyed my stay there for relaxation n spa experience is my favorite. Location is very near to BCSMall just 5mins walk. N 5mins walk away for some simple seafood delight to my taste. N i will always book the executive suite where i can enjoy the winderful jetspa bathtub. N i believe they can still improve on room cleanliness so that it can totally eliminate roaches. Otherwise its just perfect for my view...

I reached the hotel at 10am, front desk mentioned the check in time was 2pm, hence we were back at 2pm however the room was not ready, wanted us to come back 20min, I have been standing at the front desk from 2.30pm - 3pm to wait for a room to check in. Finally another front counter - chinese lady given us another room due to our located room was not ready at 3pm!!

Pleasant stay

I booked 2 apartments - 3 and 2 bedrooms. Personally, I stayed in the 2 bedrooms apartment. The apartment is relatively clean. The only minus point is the air con which is too cold for me and I had difficulty increasing the temperature.

Convenient location. Near to BCS mall. Check-in was delayed and although check out was offered for 3pm, we couldnt take it because it was a bit rush for 445pm return ferry.

We booked the 2 bedroom apt. Both the masterbedroom and the common toilets smell so bad that odour can reach to the other room. Aircon for the living room and 2nd room are not working. The maintenance guys came to help to fix the aircon and get rid of the smell but it does not work. Since the rooms are fully book we are not able to change the room.

Stayed there twice in a 2-bedroom apartment, their 2-bedroom apartment really need an upgrade. Everytime there is always something that is not working, My 1st stay the apartment shower room flooded whenever we shower, on top of that we found small roaches running around freely, thought I was unlucky so decided to try again on my next trip...2nd time the aircon not working well, during my stay the aircon was warm, the maintenance guy came but nothing much can be done, missing wall tiles in shower room, leaving sharp edges that can easily hurt children using the shower room if they are not careful ;( ...This is my third time there. This time both the toilet bowl is shaky, we do not even dare to put our full weight on it. I really give up on this hotel, not going to stay there again even if the location is great. Simply not worth paying the price for this kind of poorly maintained apartment. Nearby hotel such as Gideon hotel is so much better. If anyone wanted to try this hotel, pls go for their 3-bedroom unit. Heard from friends it is so much better maintained than their 2-bedroom unit. I personally never tried it before.

Taking transport to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, the driver asking for IDR 70,000 I usually pay around IDR 50,000 to IDR60,000 with around 4 adults in one vehicle. Yesterday was only 2 adults. Although the fare is not a big difference but he is very rude and told us if we are not happy you can lodge a complaint. We had no choice but to pay him. His vehicle no is BP 1895 CD Please help to check! Hope you won't happen again.

Bcc hotel stay

The location of the hotel is good for shopping, n food is not a problem.. the towels have a very bad smell for the room n swimming pool towel even my son also complained about it.

I hve requested for non smoking & to be near lfits as i had elderly pply. room was full of smell & had to walk all the way in to the corner. apts had 6 pxs- only 4 btls of water??? requested at counter but was not delivered to room. This is not good service. I do organise every 3-4 mths for my friends to go to batam. But thankfull rooms were clean & bedsheets were clean + towels

The overall experience is nice, clean and room was of good size. The only not so good was the breakfast, very very limited choices.
