- • Old room. Small room. Old small bathroom with door broken. Really awful lousy breakfast and couldn’t have an egg. Breakfast staff very bossy and not helpful. No black tea bags.

從外觀就可以感受到他是一間很有歷史的飯店，停車場到一樓大廳的電梯也是非常的有年代感。 不過雖然外觀老舊，服務人員的熱情卻沒有一絲馬虎 櫃檯小姐非常有禮貌的接待我們，跟網路上看到的一樣 另外房間的部分雖然也看的出來有一些比較老舊的部分，但整體給人的感覺仍然是乾淨衛生且CP值中間的房間。 早餐的部分在12樓，中式早餐，個人覺得沒有像其他評論說的那麼好吃，但絕對不是難吃，算中間偏上一些，評分我會給7分，不失不過，風景很好可以再偷+0.5分

Gemütliches Hotel an einem nicht optimalen Ort.
Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, die Einrichtung etwas älter aber angemessen, die Betten bequem, aber nicht zu weich. Das Frühstück war gut, bot neben Obst und Porridge sogar Müsli und eine von Tag zu Tag wechselnde Auswahl an warmen Elementen. Die Aussicht vom Restaurant aus ist wirklich sehr schön, man wird aber um 10 Uhr höflich und bestimmt hinausgebeten. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

- • Die Lage direkt an der Hochstraße führt zu einer ständigen Lärmbelastung, die ein Lüften oder Schlafen bei offenem Fenster kaum zulassen. Die Klimaanlage im Raum ließ sich nicht regeln, nur ein- oder ausschalten.

- • 可以更換一下浴室裡的吹風機，或是改不是壁掛式的嗎？吹風機過於老舊，吹不到20秒就自然過熱斷電無法使用，重新等待冷卻，一樣吹不到20秒就掛機了

- • What I don't like is that the door of the room is still old-fashioned, the refrigerator has no cooling, the lights in the room are not bright.

Das Personal war recht freundlich obwohl die meisten kein Englisch gesprochen haben... Die Lage ist ganz ok, man kann fußläufig einiges in der Gegend erkunden.

- • Das Hotel und speziell die Einrichtung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und auch nicht wirklich sauber. Das Frühstück ist primär für die überwiegend Chinesischen Gäste ausgelegt und eher nicht für Europäer, bzw. das wenige internationale was da war, war sehr eintönig und meiner Meinung nach auch eher minderwertig. Insbesondere der Kaffee war nicht genießbar!

距離西門町算蠻近的，高架橋快速道路就在對面，車流多會有點吵，房間隔音不是很好，會聽到隔壁洗澡沖馬桶的聲音，房間照明有點暗，早餐的咖啡機的咖啡溫的不夠熱，菜色還算可以，停車位是先到先停不是專屬車位，中途開車外出回飯店，就可能被後面入住的旅客把

The hotel staff is very service oriented and they paid attention to make sure that the hotel stay was comfortable and fuss free. As it was our honeymoon trip to Taiwan, they made preparations for us such that we feel very welcomed and happy to stay with the hotel. I will surely go there again next time. Hotel room was also furnished with a bathtub that is very therapeutic after a long day of walking. As the hotel is some walk away from ximending, they have shuttle service hourly to send us to the mrt, that's really a bonus. Luggage storage and the bellboy were also a great help when we stayed this time. Keep it up Riverview hotel!

- • Location was an issue. The river view only worked from the highest floors. Lower down views were of freeways and decaying buildings. One needed to walk through 2 or 3 dirty and inhospitable streets to reach the nice shopping streets of Ximen.
Good price, clean, perfect base for exploring Taipei
Great location. Clean, simple. Didn’t use the facilities really, but the room was perfect and set us up to explore Taipei. We were able to store luggage after checkout.

Worn-down hotel but with a very central location
Very central location, just a couple of blocks away from one of the most happening neighborhoods in Taipei. Friendly staff. The room was clean. Rather good value for money.

- • The hotel is rather worn down. Rooms are ok, but small and outdated. Overall this is a decent choice, but any potential guest should be aware that the hotel needs a big update.

Best example of why all via Internet 100% purchased goods & services e.g hotel bookings can legally be cancelled for either a full refund or at least 1st days rate Charge. This hotel, in my opinion, is disgusting!! The reception, elevation to the room, the threadbare carpets, the room stunk like Egyptian mummies were warehouse there for like aeons!. No visible plugs. The light control is so far away from the bed - you need to catch a taxi to go switch off the lights before jumping back to bed. Summarily, tired after a 6,500km flight from Europe, I risked walking away from the circa 400Euros Deposit. Complained to hotel mgmnt & Trip.com - they did nothing. Trip.com needs to dump such out of Alfred Hitchcock movie Hotels. This hotel is the exact opposite of what is shown online. Much respect for the very sympathetic staff @ Reception. Privately, they apologised to & blamed their archaic management executives who think Godzilla is still walking freely around in 2024 - lol. I checked in immediately into Hyatt Hotel for the rest of my stay - bye to being prudent & saving costs. Welcome back to the Ws, Marriott, Hyatt, Hiltons & the Ritz Carltons. Taipei is a great city & and the people are wonderful. Would highly recommend a visit, but please book only globally rated 4-5 star hotels. Asia is pure magic. EnjoY .

Hi. The hotel does not deserve its stars; it is old-fashioned (but that doesn't bother me). It's just dirty, with peeling wallpaper and dirty walls. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes, and the air conditioning was not cleaned, so it smelled bad. Breakfast was okay, but the staff were loud and argumentative with each other, making it difficult for hotel guests to eat breakfast in peace. On the other hand, the beds were very comfortable.

Spacious rooms. Good breakfast with amazing views from dining room. I was able to check in 2 hours early. Also has a shuttle to take you to ximen station although it is only a 10 minute walk anyway.

I recently stayed at an extremely old building that was in very poor condition, despite looking great in the pictures. The carpet had a musty smell, the walls were damp, and the ceiling was in bad shape. The lift was ancient, and to make matters worse, the staff were not friendly at all. I had booked the hotel for three nights but left after two as the experience was unbearable. The room itself caused me significant stress and put me in a state of depression. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

- • Overall, the facilities and hotel was outdated and not aesthetically pleasing. It badly needs a remodel. Lots of potential to be a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was just okay. I’m not sure I would choose to have the breakfast had I known what would be included.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It felt a bit dated but in a very wholesome way. Good location. We felt very welcomed by the staff. Also a great buffet breakfast in an awesome dining room. That was top notch. Would definitely stay again.
