The property was near the V&A Waterfront which was very convenient. It was a 10 minute walk or 3 minute (free (hourly)) shuttle bus ride. The hotel was pretty modern and the rooms were decent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the spa and the gym, which were very quiet and more than sufficient. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of choice and good tasting.

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location with ocean views. Short complimentary shuttle bus to the V&A waterfront where there is fantastic dining and bars. Will definitely return.

Deterioration
We have stayed in this hotel innumerable time over the last 15 years. The location is arguably the finest in Cape Town. Sadly the latest rebranding and upgrading of the hotel has led to a major deterioration in service levels. The room upgrades are in my personal view a downgrade as the room we had was sparse and “cheap” looking. The servicing of the rooms is absolutely a joke as the seem to neglect most of what needs to be dine - we had to call reception which to 10 mins to get a reply - so that towels and water could be sent to the room. It is really ssd to see. For the price we wont be back as there is better service available elsewhere.

Very good beachfront property with amazing views. Excellent breakfast , confy bed and standard internet access. Accessible to all vistas through uber conveniently.

Have stayed at hotel multiple times. The hotel was being renovated on the floor where I stayed but I did not have any issues with noise. Beautiful waterfront property. Great views

A+ Accommodations!!!
What a wonderful place to stay. We felt welcomed right from the start with the airport pick-up. The driver was like our tour guide to the hotel. We were greeted with champagne and snacks as we checked in. The location is perfect location to get to Waterfront and hop on hop off bus line. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. *Only bummer situation was the power went out in our room. It was clear it was a problem that occurred in the morning. We were not informed about the problem. If we knew we would have returned earlier while there was sunlight to pack up. It was quite difficult to do even with using our cellphone flashlight. But on the upside they did upgrade us, which made our last night stay pleasant.
